Peace Building, Conflict Resolution and Good Governance

Peace in Teso and Karamoja subregions among the youth mostly in urban or semi urban areas has been affected, there is conflict arising from ideological differences and ethnicity, among others. Young Leaders’ Organization Uganda has helped bridge the gap between different parties as well as to make visits to prisons in order to share with them and encourage them as well to be better citizens.

Young Leaders’ Organization Uganda with the help of recognized institutions sensitizing the public on peace related issues through the mass media, schools, churches and other socialization means.

Young Leaders Organization Uganda has had a positive impact on: Agriculture; sponsorship; child protection and advocacy; climate change; peace building, conflict resolution and good governance; poverty eradication; and skill acquisition training.
